# About AI Engine Technologies

AI Engine Technologies is a **small, deep engineering team** that builds
locally-deployed AI voice and agent systems. We assemble AI from the ground up: the
large language model, the speech pipeline (speech-to-text and text-to-speech), and
the retrieval layer (RAG, reranking, and graph-enhanced search) are each things we
select, deploy, and tune ourselves — on infrastructure you control.

## Not a cloud resale

A lot of what gets sold as "AI" is a thin wrapper around a third-party cloud API. We
took the opposite position. When the model runs on your own hardware, your data
never leaves your network, there is no per-token bill compounding in the background,
and you can use the system for confidential work — client matters, patient
information, financial records — without reservation.
